Lately we’ve been having several conversations in our house about the holidays, the spirit of giving, and what we want this holiday season to feel like in our home.
Both my husband and I are not a huge fan of all the STUFF that accumulates so rapidly.
We’d much rather give the gift of experiences than a plethora of toys that will begin collecting dust as soon as the novelty wears off.
(Not to worry…our daughter will be getting some toys from us mixed in with the experience of an array of books to read with mom and dad and tickets for a family movie day together).
For us the holidays are all about embracing connection and making memories.
When family asks me what I’d like them to get me, I never quite know how to answer. Because to me, more stuff is meaningless. I’d rather be gifted an awesome experience.
A date night, a day trip or mini-vacation, a dinner out on the town, or a class.
Education, learning, and growing as a human has always been super important to me. And making memories with the people I love is of utmost importance too.
So as you go into this season of giving I’m bringing back one of my favorite FREE gifts.
A mini class experience that will help you bring focus back on what matters most during the holidays. Making memories with your family and capturing them a bit more beautifully this year too.
