Fun fact about me: I have an unhealthy obsession with unique accessories. Bags, necklaces, scarves, shoes. They’re the perfect way to add a pop of color, life, or fun into an otherwise ordinary outfit.
So, it’s no surprise that I’m a huge fan of vibrant and unique photography accessories too. Especially camera bags!

However when it comes to selecting one I am super picky. This year I knew it was time for a new bag to enter my life, but the desire for style, durability, and functionality held me back from making a decision for which one to call mine.
Enter JoTotes.
I was thrilled when they recently sent me one of their bags to review, because it turns out that I love love love it! The perfect bag apparently found me and it meets all of my criteria.

Why do I love this bag so much? Let’s breakdown my review into the 3 criteria I set out on my bag search, and I’ll tell you a bit more about how this JoTotes Betsy bag lives up to each one.
Style
One of the best thing about JoTotes bags are the variety of color options and styles. There are smaller shoulder bags or larger cross body bags (like my Betsy). There are also multiple colors for each style including bright vibrant colors, pastels, or neutrals; meaning you can truly match a bag to your personality. I also love that these carry like a cute purse or work bag too. I’ve gotten so many compliments when out for coffee our around town with my daughter about my ‘purse’ so the bag can definitely serve double-duty as both camera bag or around town bag.

Durability
JoToes bags are made of heavy duty faux leather which I absolutely adore. The sleek surface makes cleaning easy and I don’t worry about it getting beat up by the elements (or by my child) while out and about. The inside padding is thick too so giving peace of mind that your gear is safely protected inside. You can tell as soon as you get your hands on one of these bags that they can withstand a lot and will hold up over time.
Functionality
I’ve got one word for you: pockets. There are so many of them on this Betsy bag! from zipper pockets on the flap and rear of the bag, to the two small front pockets, and multiple sectioning options inside, a lot can fit in this thing! As a blogger who is often working in coffee shops or on the go I personally desired a bag that would let me carry both my camera and a laptop which this bag easily allows. The inside has one long laptop section (where my journal and pen carrier are pictured below), and then a larger segmented area for my camera, lenses, wallet, or whatever else I need to take on the go. There are also velcro inserts you can use to customize that internal pocket a bit more for protecting multiple lenses, bodies, wallets, keys or whatever else you need to take with you.
