Finding Your Adult Identity: NOT As Simple As A Seventeen Magazine Quiz Page

Today we’re doing something a bit different on the show. Once a month I’ll sit down for a conversation with Recapture Self community manager Jen Doolittle as we dive deep and chat about ONE topic relating to our journey

Jen is mom and photographer who finds sanity in 2 things – coffee and her camera.  Obsessed with photo projects, she believes in capturing life as it unfolds and loves helping moms find the beauty in their everyday over at her website Songbird and Bear.

Today Jen and I dive deep about: IDENTITY. We chat about:

  • How shaping you identity goes hand in hand with the creative journey
  • The internal struggle the comes from trying to integrate our childhood identity with our adulthood identity
  • The delicate role we play in shaping our child’s personal development without forcing them in particular direction.
  • Two fun (and free!) personality tests you can take to understand yourself and your interactions in the world better
  • How knowing yourself can shape your confidence and help you set personal boundaries.

HOMEWORK PART 1: Take the two personality tests we reference on the call today. Here’s a link to:
