Curiosity may have killed the cat, but that doesn’t mean we should shy away from it! So often we lose our curiosity as we grow up and we start to focus on the day to day life of momming and working and real-life-ing. Thankfully in this podcast we chat with our guest about uncovering curiosity as an adult and how it can help you to embrace the everyday breadcrumbs to live the creative life that you love!
Today I’m chatting with Julia Linsteadt — a bundle of artistic, creative, positive energy! She is the founder of Cut Outs Kids where she loves exclamation points, glitter, and helping families get creative with their children. She teaches art to young families and is an arts education consultant in the San Francisco Bay Area where she lives with her two children and husband who have bravely embraced the mess of living a creative life.
Uncovering Curiosity as an Adult
Today Julia and I chat about:
- The process of collecting ‘creative breadcrumbs’ and how they slowly add up to supporting finding your true values and purpose.
- How commitment to a project, or goal doesn’t always end as planned – and how releasing your expectations can open new doors to personal freedom.
- Julia shares solid advice on unlocking greater curiosity in adulthood — seriously this tip is SO good and it’s so much simpler, and easier than you think!
- Plus Julia shares her latest creative collaboration on Instagram and encourages us all to embrace the combination of children’s literature with the artistic process.
