Momtography California: A conversation with Heather Salter

This season on the Recapture Self podcast it’s our intention to give you a peek at the lives of moms and women who are balancing daily life, motherhood, and a commitment to their creative selves. These are women who are my creative coaching clients, ones that are making time and space for their passion projects whether that be writing a book, designing a blog, photographing their family, or starting a creative business.

We kick off Season 3 with an exciting set of interviews. I’ll be chatting with each of the first 4 licensed Momtography™ teachers! Prepare to be inspired by their why stories. This week I’m chatting with Heather Salter, our California based teacher.

Heather’s day job is as Vice President of Operations at an engineering firm in San Francisco, but her heart is in capturing beautiful images of her family and friends and all their adventures. She has two crazy cute kiddos, one awesome husband, and a neurotic (but sweet) Bichapoo. Heather loves burrito bowls, 80’s music, English Literature, and car dancing. When she’s not taking pictures or editing them, you can find her at the yoga studio, camping, drinking coffee, chasing after her kids at soccer and swimming, or at their local brewery. Heather loves being outdoors, staying active, and connecting with new people. She’s a self-diagnosed introvert with a passion for people. Photo Credit: Aika Cardin Photography
