Beat photo overwhelm: a 10 minute guide to organizing and printing your images

I just read earlier this week that there are only 10 more weekends left in 2012.

:::gulp:::

But, wait – our family was just picking pumpkins last weekend, it can’t be THAT close to the holidays yet, can it?

As I slowly digest that number, 10 weeks, and begin thinking about the impending holiday season I admit I start to get an intense feeling of overwhelm starting to sink in.

If there are only 10 weekends left in 2012, that leaves only 9 until Christmas (and just 6 until Hanukkah!)

And I haven’t even started shopping yet.

Lucky for me, my holiday gift list is basically complete because I have LOTS of photos of my munchkin that will put a huge smile on her family’s face.

But those LOTS of photos add up really quickly and that’s where my problems begin. I always say I’m going to create these incredible photo books and wall collages as gifts, but getting organized and getting started is always a struggle for me.

Apparently it’s a struggle for many of you too because this week Tiffany sent me a cry for help and I’m coming to her rescue.

In today’s episode of Point. Click. Love. I’m sharing some of my favorite photo projects that I’m super proud of completing AND I’m granting you top secret access to my computer files and sharing how I organize my thousands of photos.

This episode is a little bit longer than previous ones, but I promise it’ll be worth every minute of your time because it’s chock full of valuable tips and techniques that will have you checking those special photo gifts off your holiday list in no time flat.

Before you begin any of those projects though, I’d love to hear from you in the comments today.

Have you found a system of photo organization on your hard drive that you love? What did you see it today’s video that will help you organize and actually complete your next photo project?

Is there anything else you’d like to share about how keeping all of those photo files on your hard drive at bay so you’re more apt to create something with them later? Tell me about it in the comments please.
