Do your photos need TLC?

One of my biggest goals of 2013 is to connect and teach as many mamas as I can to capture their memories, connect with their families, and love the results they are getting from their cameras.

When I posted on Facebook yesterday, a little idea that’s been stirring around in my mind for a few months I was NOT expecting the overwhelming response I received for all of you!

So I took a hint, got right on it, and this new photo critique series was born!

Or as my friend Kelly Nelson kindly renamed them, Tender Loving Critiques (TLC).

I asked readers (like you!) to send me photos you’re frustrated with, or want my eyes on for professional advice. I’ll feature some of the images in a video blog telling you what can be done immediately to boost your momtographer skills up a notch.

This week’s video runs 10 minutes.

Longer than I usually like (I know you’re a busy mom like me!), but well worth the watch, especially if you’ve ever experienced photos where your camera doesn’t focus for you correctly.

Click the play button to meet today’s momtographer and get your tips. Then keep on reading below for your homework assignment (because practicing what you’ve learned is oh so important)!

HOMEWORK: In the comments below tell me one thing you plan to try in the next 24 hours using today’s focus tips. Were there any “ah ha!” moments that you took away from Jennifer’s tender loving critique? I want to hear about what you learned!

If you liked this new blog  feature please facebook it, pin it, email it, or do whatever you want to do to spread the love and share it with other moms who might be in need of some photo advice.  And, if you want my eyes on your photos for a future episode, email me at berylayn@gmail.com. I’d love to help you!
